Hyde Wins RCL Honor Monday, May 12th , 2064 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Austin Hyde, the Havana Stogies 19-year-old right fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 14 hits in 24 at-bats, compiling a .583 average with no home runs and 4 RBIs. This season, Hyde is batting .269 with 32 hits, 1 home run, 14 RBIs, .338 OBP and has scored 13 runs. |
