Pyne Wins RCL Honor Monday, June 2nd , 2064 Not every ball that came off Jon Pyne's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners. For his exploits, Pyne was named this week's Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week award. The Eagle Rock first baseman put up 10 hits in 27 at-bats and 5 home runs while hitting .370 with 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored. On the year, Pyne is hitting .298 with 50 hits, 8 home runs, 28 RBIs, .362 OBP and has scored 23 runs. |
