Chicago-Dallas Brawl, Benavides and Epperson Suspended

Miguel Benavides of the Chicago Eclipse and Bob Epperson of the Dallas Texans received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Millennium Field.

This year, Benavides has collected a .279 batting average to date with 83 hits in 298 at-bats, 56 RBIs, 16 home runs and scored 54 times. He has played in 84 games.
