Bennett Belts 5 Hits Friday, September 5th , 2064 Today at The Kaleidoscope, Kevin Bennett put on an impressive display. The Pennsylvania Butterflies second baseman tagged Seattle pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but his teammates were unable to capitalize on the spree and lost the game to the Seattle Sasquatch by the score of 9-7. "The loss takes some of the joy out of it, but I'll take it," Bennett said. "5-for-5 ain't bad in any league." Despite the terrific performance, the Butterflies manager was unwilling to offer the second baseman much praise, saying the "whole roster" is held accountable for losses. "Kevin told me 'Coach, I had 5 hits' and I said 'Well that's great, but it looks like we needed one more from you,'" manager Aaron Barnes said. Kevin Bennett singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 8th, doubled in the 10th and walked in the 11th.
