No Playoff Berth Coming for Mexico City Sunday, September 28th , 2064 The Mexico City Luchadores were stuck in the middle this season -- not competitive enough in the playoff chase to be considered relevant, but not far enough behind to be completely written off. Until now, that is -- today, the Luchadores were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Mexico City last appeared in the postseason in 2062. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 30 times in their 53-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Luchadores have made the playoffs 6 times. Mexico City has won the Round 3 2 times in their history. |
