Eagle Rock Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Friday, October 3rd , 2064 It won't be a season to remember for the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Ridge Runners were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2064 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Eagle Rock starting pitcher Tony Leija. Eagle Rock last appeared in the postseason in 2059. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 31 times in their 53-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Ridge Runners have made the playoffs 3 times. Eagle Rock has won the Round 3 2 times in their history. |
