Eclipse Moran Lost for Year Monday, October 6th , 2064 Dan Moran has to call it a season. The Chicago Eclipse third baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the El Paso Mavericks and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Moran was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn calf muscle and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months. Thus far this season, Moran is hitting .318 with 18 home runs, 76 RBIs and 104 runs scored. He has 191 hits in 601 at-bats and has played in 146 games. |
