Ayala Goes 5-for-5 Saturday, May 6th , 2062 Carlos Ayala got the glory and the headlines, but the Hendersonville Hens left with the win. The Amarillo right fielder easily handled the Hens pitching, going 5-for-5, but his Amarillo Armadillos came out on the short end of the 10-3 score. Ayala told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win. "Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end." Carlos Ayala singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
