Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Sunday, July 16th , 2062 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Fort Worth-Albuquerque contest at LaGrave Field. The Cats Ben Overby and the Cacti John Goff will have to sit out 3 and 7 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Thus far this year, Overby has hit .326 with 6 home runs and 32 RBIs. Goff has made 17 relief appearances this year and notched 2 saves. To date in 25.2 innings he has a 4-1 record, 3.16 ERA with 20 strikeouts and 15 walks. |
