Players Suspended in Wind-Privateers Donnybrook Saturday, July 29th , 2062 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Waimea-Memphis contest at The Wind Tunnel. The Wind Roland Southwick and the Privateers Jon Wambach will have to sit out 2 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This year, Southwick is hitting at a .169 pace with 4 home runs and 6 RBIs. He has played in 36 games and scored 10 times. Wambach has gone 4-6 this season with an ERA of 6.09 and 60 strikeouts in 88.2 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .277 against him. |
