Faught Booms 3 Homers Sunday, September 9th , 2063 The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Anchorage Moose. Calgary left fielder Mark Faught tripled up on the home runs to propel the Kodiaks to a win, 13-12, at Moose's Tooth Field. "We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Anchorage manager said. "Faught hit the heck out of the ball." In addition to the homers, Faught collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and scored 4 runs. "Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings." Mark Faught struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Aaron Nappi in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Aaron Nappi in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Alejandro Garcia in the 8th. Batting .333 to date, Faught has 18 home runs and 64 RBIs. |
