Memphis Left Fielder Out Tuesday, September 11th , 2063 The season is apparently over for Mauricio Betances. The Memphis Privateers medical staff informed the club that the left fielder will be out at least 8-9 months with a ruptured medial collateral ligament. Betances was hurt in the game against Madison while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Betances is batting at a .333 pace this season, picking up 14 hits in 42 at-bats with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |
