League Suspends Frenz and Ito for Fisticuffs Friday, April 18th , 2064 After an intense confrontation, both the Flash Nick Frenz and the Cats Norietsu Ito were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Fairfield-Fort Worth game. Nick Frenz will miss 3 games, while Norietsu Ito was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Nick Frenz commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Currently Frenz has no home runs and a .171 batting average. |
