Season Ends for David Ottman of Tallahassee Saturday, September 6th , 2064 David Ottman of the Captains just might have to call it quits for the season. The 21-year-old Tallahassee second baseman received a possible season-ending injury against the Calgary Cowboys recently at The Carrier Dome. Ottman suffered a ruptured achilles tendon while running the bases. The Captains medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4 months. This year, Ottman is batting .429 with 21 hits, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs, 4 walks, .472 OBP and has scored 11 runs. |
