McGinnity Silences Billings, 11-0 Wednesday, September 10th , 2064 Joe McGinnity kept the Billings Mustangs hitters from doing much damage at Cobb Field. Billings could only muster 3 hits and draw 4 walks against the right-handed McGinnity, who controlled them throughout the game. Astoria won the contest, 11-0. McGinnity added 6 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," McGinnity told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." To date, McGinnity has a 7-11 mark in 24 starts with a 6.03 ERA.
