League Punishes Pair for Fighting Saturday, September 20th , 2064 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Antioch-Reno contest at The Coal Mine. The Coal Miners Kyle Higgins and the Raiders John Tait will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. On the year, Higgins has hit .324 with 24 home runs, 96 RBIs and scored 112 runs. Thus far this season, Tait has worked 159.2 innings with 103 strikeouts en route to a 7-13 record and a 5.97 ERA. |
