Swallowtails Steve Stevens Down and Out for Year Wednesday, September 24th , 2064 Steve Stevens will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the State College starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Stevens was injured while throwing a pitch in the Swallowtails-Hitmen clash at Mckinley Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 14 months. This year, Stevens has made 31 starts, thrown 192.2 innings, fanned 134 batters and walked 63. His won-lost record is 10-14 with a 4.44 ERA. |
