Red-Hot September Lands Simmons Batting Prize in RAAA Wednesday, October 1st , 2064 For a rookie just breaking in, Nick Simmons certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the RAAA Batter of the Month award for September. The 21-year-old left fielder for the Memphis Privateers hit .366 with 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and 29 runs scored. To date Simmons has chalked up a .300 average with 26 home runs, driven in 94 runs and scored 103 times. |
