Salter Slaps 5 Hits Tuesday, April 18th , 2062 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the West Virginia's 17-3 win over St. Petersburg, center fielder Jalen Salter was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at The Rain Forest. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Salter said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Jalen Salter singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Carlos Rivera in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
