Braden and Rumsey Suspended for Free-for-All Saturday, July 8th , 2062 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Houston-Ocala contest at Woodland Park. The Sting Kurt Braden and the Knights Kurtis Rumsey will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season, Braden has banged out 10 hits in 39 at-bats for a .256 average with 1 home run. He is getting on base at a .383 pace and his totals also include 10 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Over the season Rumsey has thrown 118.1 innings and dished out 131 strikeouts with a 12-2 mark and a 2.28 ERA. |
