Jamie Salerno of the Eugene Emeralds had one such moment at The Nut House, when he went 5 for 5 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Eugene succumbed to defeat, 19-2, to the Moose Jaw Warriors. "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 22-year-old second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview.
