Thomas 5-for-5 for River Chiefs Friday, September 7th , 2063 Josh Thomas had an answer for everything the Niagara Falls Barrels threw at him at Horseshoe Park. The Chippewa catcher went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the River Chiefs a win, 8-0. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Thomas said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Josh Thomas walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Michael Daly in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
