Batstone Belts Bunch of Base Hits Tuesday, September 25th , 2063 It was a hits blitz for Davis Batstone at Abbey Stadium. The Campo NoBos catcher tore into the Moonbeam Martians for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Martians swept past the NoBos, 11-9, to ruin Batstone's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," Campo manager Adrián Cortés explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 5 hits from Davis was nice but it wasn't enough." Davis Batstone singled in the 1st, walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
