Charleston's Wilson Will Miss Season Thursday, September 27th , 2063 Phil Wilson of the Charleston Panthers was injured in today's game against Chippewa and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn anterior cruciate ligament, and he is expected to be out for up to 7 months. It happened while Wilson was running the bases. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Thus far this year, Wilson has hit .240 with 7 home runs and 36 RBIs. |
