Martians Move on to Single A World Series Wednesday, October 10th , 2063 The Moonbeam Martians will continue the trek towards a Single A World Series title, while the San Antonio River Bandits are headed home for the season. Moonbeam won the Single A League Championship with a clinching game 2-1 victory at Dr Pepper Stadium, concluding the series at 4-1. "We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Bob Pyke said after officially being named series MVP. He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .333 batting average, .500 on-base percentage, 4 home runs, 5 RBI and 7 runs scored. The Moonbeam Martians don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Oconomowoc Five O's - Carmel Apples series. Oconomowoc leads the series 3 games to 2.
