Heyes beat the Houston Sting, 3-0, breezing through the Sting lineup en route to a no-hitter. "I thought John started off a little slow and was struggling with his command at first," Dancin' Outlaws manager Guy de Kleijn said later. "He lucked his way through the early innings, and they helped him out by not being patient. Eventually, it all came together for him, and from there on the Sting never had a chance.
