Frank Parks 3 HR in the Seats Wednesday, June 4th , 2064 Houston Sting left fielder Todd Frank sensed he was going to have a good day at the plate, but he still might have underestimated it a little. Prior to the start of today's contest with the Moose Jaw Warriors, Frank told teammates he was sure he would hit a home run. He did -- three times. "During batting practice I really had my swing down pat," he recalled. "I felt some thunder in the lumber." The big day from Frank pushed the Sting past the Warriors, 8-3. To go along with the homers, he collected 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs. "I was seeing good, feeling good and swinging good," Frank told reporters after the game. Todd Frank hit a two-run home run off Eddie Flores in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Eddie Flores in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jose Suaste in the 9th. This year, Frank is hitting .360 with 10 home runs and 32 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .459 clip and scored 34 runs. |
