In an unforgettable performance, the 20-year-old Miller fanned 19 Pelicans and sparked the 8-4 Oconomowoc Five O's victory over St. Petersburg. He left Pelicans hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it. "I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said Oconomowoc manager Jorge Murillo. "His location and command were really something." In addition to collecting 19 strikeouts over 9 innings, Miller allowed 7 hits and no walks in a superlative outing. "I thought I'd make it easy on the guys today," Miller said with a smile.
