McKain Blisters Alabama
Wednesday, March 22nd , 2062
It was almost a perfect day for Ethan McKain.
The Miami shortstop displayed a hot bat, enjoying an outstanding 5-hit day, but something was missing: The Hurricanes lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide, 29-23. McKain told BNN reporters after the game that luck was "fickle."
Miami manager Jody Farley told the beat writers otherwise.
"There was no luck today," the skipper said. "He got 5 hits because he has a solid approach to hitting and he put it all together, and we lost because the rest of us didn't put it together so well."
Ethan McKain struck out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Marcus Miles in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off Brian Ice in the 9th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
