Haase Homers 3 Times Against Tulane Friday, April 14th , 2062 Mike Haase was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 8-2 USC Trojans triumph at Berthoud College Grounds. The 20-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Trojans past the Tulane Green Wave. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Haase told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The first baseman went 4-for-5, rung up 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Mike Haase hit a solo-shot off David Feldman in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Kevin Myers in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jon Ibbotson in the 8th. Thus far this year, Haase is batting .388 with 14 home runs, 32 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
