Tigers Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, April 26th , 2062 There might have been some flickers of hopes of a playoff berth at some point during the season, but those flickers have been snuffed out. The Clemson Tigers were officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Tigers have missed the playoffs 48 times in their 51 years as a USA NCAA DIVISION I franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 11th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2051. Clemson has won the NCAA College World Series 2 times in their history. |
