Buckeyes Wilson Gone for Year

David Wilson has to call it a season. The Ohio State Buckeyes reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Wilson was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 9-10 months.
On the year, Wilson has no saves in 8 relief appearances with a 0-1 record and 16.76 ERA.
