SBL Awards Player of the Week Monday, May 1st , 2062 Gary Bolen is respected by most South Illinois Salukis fans for his no-frills style of play. The 19-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Skip Bertman League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .476 average (10-for-21) with 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This year, Bolen has hit at a .353 pace and produced 46 RBIs, 11 home runs and scored 39 runs. |
