UCLA's Ware Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Tuesday, May 2nd , 2062 No matter what the TCU Horned Frogs threw at him, Jaden Ware hit it. He easily handled Horned Frogs pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Bruins triumph, 19-9, at Dingoes Ballpark. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Ware's quip, Horned Frogs skipper Masato Takagi said he "would take him up on that next time." Jaden Ware grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, singled in the 9th and walked in a run in the 9th.
