5-Hit Game for Thompson Tuesday, May 2nd , 2062 Pat Thompson found his groove in today's game versus the UCLA Bruins and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-6 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the TCU Horned Frogs, as the club lost the game, 19-9. The 21-year-old second baseman told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked." "I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Thompson said. Pat Thompson singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run double in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
