Big 3-HR Day for Wirth Wednesday, May 3rd , 2062 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Zodiac Ballpark buzzing, Auburn Tigers third baseman David Wirth blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 12-2, over the Florida Gators. "Everything was clicking," Wirth told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Wirth shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Tigers manager Sean Clark said. "David played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
