Strike Three! Lampman Out as Commodores Manager Sunday, May 21st , 2062 Most people are upset, frustrated, or depressed upon learning they have been fired. But not Ruben Lampman. Today he was fired as the manager of the Vanderbilt Commodores, but remained cheery and upbeat following the announcement. "Worse things have happened, losing this job isn't going to break me. I'll be just fine, don't worry about me," he said. "I'm sure I'll be able to find a job elsewhere. I'll take some time off to figure things out, and I'll be back." Vanderbilt general manager said the decision was the result of a "change in organizational direction." |
