Saturday, June 3rd , 2062
Fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes are hoping there are many more awards to come for their talented ace, Mike Snead.

At the age of only 20, the star pitcher has been named the Skip Bertman League Most Valuable Player Award winner for 2062.

"We knew Snead was a special player, but I don't think anyone expected him to get this good, this fast," the Ohio State manager said.

Snead's dominant season saw him throw 39.1 innings, with a 1.14 ERA and .181 opponent's batting average. He had a record of 1-1 through 9 starts and compiled a 2.2 WAR along the way.

He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 48. Andy Dunn of the Oklahoma Sooners finished second in voting with 18 first place votes, while Kevin Bennett of the Tennessee Volunteers finished third with 6 first place votes.
