Fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes are hoping there are many more awards to come for their talented ace, Mike Snead.
At the age of only 20, the star pitcher has been named the Skip Bertman League Most Valuable Player Award winner for 2062.
"We knew Snead was a special player, but I don't think anyone expected him to get this good, this fast," the Ohio State manager said.
Snead's dominant season saw him throw 39.1 innings, with a 1.14 ERA and .181 opponent's batting average. He had a record of 1-1 through 9 starts and compiled a 2.2 WAR along the way.
