Capitals Win Tight Lester B. Person League West Division Race Saturday, April 15th , 2062 The Victoria Capitals are champions of the Lester B. Person League West Division, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the Canadian Baseball League Championship," said starting pitcher Forrest Lovelass. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Victoria." The club's record currently sits at 29-28. It is the team's 10th division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 10th CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE championship. Team manager Chris Riddle said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
