Andrews on Fire, 5-for-7 Against Billings West Friday, March 24th , 2062 The San Marin Mustangs stopped the Billings West Golden Bears by a score of 18-9 at Guadalajara HS Grounds, with the lion's share of the credit going to catcher Aaron Andrews. The 15-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Andrews said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Andrews did just that in his 7 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Golden Bears. "Not much that I can say," offered Billings West manager Bill Conklin. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Aaron Andrews grounded out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Scott Amore in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off David Courser in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
