Warhorses Ruiz Goes Yard 4 Times Thursday, May 4th , 2062 Fans at Oranges Ballpark won't soon forget the raw display of power put on by Barnwell Warhorses left fielder Miguel Ruiz. Ruiz smashed 4 home runs in Barnwell's 28-8 victory over the Seminole Warhawks. "To be honest with you, I have never even thought about hitting this many home runs in a game," Ruiz said to reporters after the game. "Only legends hit this many home runs in a game and I ain't no legend." In his history-making performance, Ruiz victimized Seminole hurlers for 4 hits in 5 at-bats with 5 runs scored and 7 RBIs. "What he did was unbelievable," said Seminole manager Parker Harder. "My guys gave it their best, but he hit some fine pitches. He was like -- he was in automatic home run mode today. He just had that great swing. It didn't matter what we threw him. It was gone." Miguel Ruiz hit a solo-shot off Tim Archuleta in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Tim Archuleta in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Sean Davis in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Rich Vicente in the 8th.
