Rocha Stretches Hit String to 35 Thursday, May 4th , 2062 Alex Rocha's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Barnwell. The 17-year-old catcher extended it once again, this time bringing it to 35 games with a 2-for-2 performance against the Seminole Warhawks. The Warhorses won the game, 28-8. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Alex Rocha singled in the 1st, walked in the 1st and doubled in the 3rd. Posting a .489 batting average to date, Rocha has 36 home runs and 97 RBIs. |
