Rivas Swats 3 HR Against San Marin Saturday, May 6th , 2062 The San Marin Mustangs won't soon forget the display of raw power by Luis Rivas of the Riverside Poly. He victimized the Mustangs by pounding three pitches out of Apollos Ballpark to spark his club to a win, 12-5. "I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them," Rivas told reporters. "Today I was in a groove. Tomorrow, I could just pop up the same pitches and go 0-for-3." In addition to the homers, he collected 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Luis Rivas hit a solo-shot off Joey Durrell in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Joey Durrell in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Ryan Gilbert in the 6th and struck out in the 6th. In 2062 Rivas has hit at a .307 clip with 65 hits, 34 home runs, 98 RBIs and has scored 59 times. |
