Ruiz Week's Best in HALL Monday, May 8th , 2062 The Hank Aaron Little League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Miguel Ruiz, left fielder of the Barnwell Warhorses. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .667 pace to win the award. Ruiz went 12-for-18 for the week, totaled 6 home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 11 times. This season, Ruiz has banged out 77 hits in 214 at-bats for a .360 average with 18 home runs. He is getting on base at a .469 pace and his totals also include 57 RBIs and 65 runs scored. |
