No Late-Season Magic Coming: Lerna Out of Playoffs Tuesday, May 16th , 2062 Lerna Lions manager Morgan Tompsett said his club is "frustrated" to no longer have a chance at the postseason. The club was mathematically eliminated from a possible playoff berth earlier today. The Lions have missed the playoffs 28 times in their 33 years as a LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 17th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2045. Lerna last won the Little League World Series in 2037. |
