He fanned 42 betters, while walking 23 and put up a record of 3-0 to go with his 3.29 ERA. He received 23 first place votes out of a possible 24. Mike LaRiviere of the Kearny High Cardinals finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Jim Coture of the Frontance Falcons finished third.
