HALL's Best Hurler is Cummings Wednesday, June 21st , 2062 The Rutland Voodoos have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Malik Cummings, this year's Hank Aaron Little League Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Cummings compiled a 4-2 record in 11 starts, tallied 55 strikeouts in 52.1 innings and recorded a 3.96 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .250 batting average against him. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jake Bush of the Rutland Voodoos finished second in voting, while Wayne Speights of the Seminole Warhawks finished third.
