Langlet Belts Bunch of Base Hits Thursday, October 2nd , 2064 No matter what the Prince George Cougars threw at him, Luigi Langlet hit it. He easily handled Cougars pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Rangers triumph, 7-4, at The Back Draft. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Langlet's quip, Cougars skipper Sergio MartÃnez said he "would take him up on that next time." Luigi Langlet singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Ismael Gutierrez in the 9th.
