Lawton Cracks 5 Hits Sunday, October 5th , 2064 5 times is the charm -- at least for Ryan Lawton. The Rockville Rangers shortstop tore up the Easton Caterpillars to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Knockout Stadium by Brooklyn Decker. The offensive onslaught from Lawton powered the 33-6 Rangers win. "Lawton was a tough out," Easton manager Mekonnen Asani said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Ryan Lawton singled in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Ozzie Mosquera in the 2nd, walked in a run in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and walked in a run in the 8th.
