The Texans grabbed a win, 3-2, at Metroplex Park, overcoming a fine effort from El Paso pitcher David Gladden. Gladden went 8.1 innings and allowed 1 run. The Texans raised their record to 49-67.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Dallas trailing 2-1, Miguel Damaso jumped on a 2-1 cutter from Renato Tofoli for a 2-run home run, sending the Texans to a walk-off win.

"You never take a win for granted in this league," said Damaso.
